Portland, Oregon (February 1, 2022) – Deschutes Investment Consulting, LLC., an SEC-regulated investment advisory firm would like to announce the promotion of Chelsie Andrews to Chief Operating Officer. Deschutes would also like to congratulate Chelsie on becoming a shareholder, which reflects her 18 years of ongoing dedication and loyalty to all she does behind the scenes for the company. She manages the daily operations for the firm along with working directly with the CEO on assisting corporate retirement plan clients.

Chelsie is responsible for helping our retirement plan clients keep their plans running smoothly and compliant. With strong attention to detail, Chelsie is a natural at maintaining order in the office and seeing that projects keep moving.

Deschutes CEO MacGregor Hall states that “Chelsie is one of those rare breeds of people that tirelessly and efficiently get more accomplished in a day than most of us in two or three.”

A graduate of Santa Clara University with her Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Chelsie calls upon her college training often in her job. She says that clear communication is highly important with clients and helps establish goals, and everyone works effectively towards them. Chelsie came to work at Deschutes as an executive assistant to the CEO in 2004, where she has enjoyed working with the small tight-knit group of dedicated professionals who all have the common goal of helping clients retire successfully.

Chelsie is a sports fan and an active mother of two. Referencing this love of sports, MacGregor Hall mentions a Hockey legend and says, “she plays to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been. She anticipates what clients and I need before we do! We are all very lucky to have had Chelsie working alongside us for almost 18 years. She is the backbone of the organization.”

Outside of her work with Deschutes, Chelsie enjoys raising her kids, spending time with family, volunteering, traveling, and rooting on the Oregon State Beavers her favorite football team.
